Pine Forest UMC is a congregation driven by the Great Commission.

Our motto, "Reaching Out and Sharing God's Love" reflects this focus.

The people of Pine Forest are active in missions both at home and abroad. Locally, we are involved in exciting outreaches within our community. Anchored by four major events, our Outreach program shares Christ's love within our community in simple ways such as giving away free bottles of water at the local July 4th fireworks celebration, offering free lemonade at Dublin's annual St. Patrick's parade, offering free gift wrapping tables at the mall at Christmas, and inviting the community to our church building for an annual Block Party that offers free food, fun, and entertainment. And these programs are just part of an active local outreach ministry that also includes monthly service at a local soup kitchen, organized participation in Habitat for Humanity house building, ringing bells at Salvation Army kettles, visitation teams, and more.

The flagship of Pine Forest foreign missions is the annual Jamaica mission team. For over 30 years, the congregation of Pine Forest has lead a two week mission to the impoverished people of Jamaica. The teams work in two areas during the missions: construction and medical. The construction teams have completed numerous projects including school and church facilities. The medical team specializes in offering free eye care to the island, including free optical exams and presecription eyewear as well as providing surgical teams that offer a free eye surgery clinic to the beautiful people of Jamiaca.
