The Methodist Children’s Fellowship meets every Sunday night from 5:00 – 6:00 and is for children first grade through fifth grade, during the school year.   We begin with a snack supper and then move into large group time.   During this time we play games, watch movie clips or have skits that relate to our theme for the evening.   After large group time we move into small group time where we discuss the Bible verse, the evening events and how it relates to the children and their daily lives.   The children then head upstairs to children’s choir.   Children’s choir meets from 6:00 – 7:00.   Also, on Sunday nights we have Cherub Choir (for ages 4 and 5).   This group meets from 5:00 -7:00, starting off with snack supper, they move into age appropriate MCF activities and then have choir.

During the summer we have Vacation Bible School (June 13-17, 2010) and a summer camp program that meets every other week for 2 hours. Vacation Bible School is an exciting time that involves children and adults of all ages.   We start with dinner and then move into our activities.   The kids have a great time learning about God through games, crafts, bible stories and many other hands on experiences.   Our summer camp program is open to children ages 4 – fifth grade and offers many different experiences related to life and the Bible.   Last summer we had a picnic, food fight, water wars and many other exciting activities.

We also have Wednesday night fun. The kids play games, and have plan and unplanned activities. We try to let the children have a brief Bible study or activity related to a learning experience and then let them have some free play time.
